Come for a flu shot, stay for the cookies!
On Saturday, October 26th CFM will be hosting a flu shot clinic from 8-12 followed by an open house with refreshments from 12-3.
The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older – with rare exceptions – receive a flu shot. Even if you have a healthy immune system, you may pass illnesses to those around you without ever developing symptoms yourself. Those with weaker immune systems, such as young children, the elderly, or those with chronic illnesses, are at higher risk. Help you and your loved ones stay healthy this flu season by getting a flu shot.
Patients seen at CFM in the past twelve months are welcome to come receive a flu shot. We’re requesting appointments be scheduled in advance as much as possible to ensure adequate staffing levels, but one is not required during the open house. Please bring a copy of your insurance card.
After the flu shot clinic, CFM will open its doors to the community to celebrate its 30 years of service. Current and past staff will be available for discussions and to answer questions about our history and work. If you’ve been considering making CFM your medical home, now’s the perfect chance to get to know us better! Dr. Rampton, a founding member and still active provider, will be in attendance, as will Elizabeth Cuno, our new Office Administrator. Be sure to catch some of Dr. Rampton’s stories from over the years!
Did we mention the goodies? Cookies (can’t miss!) and lemonade will be catered, with a cake to celebrate CFM’s 30th birthday.
