Meet the Team

Dr. Mark Rampton was born and raised in Corvallis and received his engineering degree from Oregon State University. He received his medical degree at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) and served in the U.S. Army in Georgia and California.

He is an advocate of the Family Medicine philosophy in which the scope of care includes all individuals, regardless of their age or gender. Dr. Rampton is now retired from Family Medicine as a PCP but continues to see patients at CFM on an ad hoc basis.

Dr. Aaron David is a native Oregonian and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in 1994. He earned his doctorate degree from Des Moines University, Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa in 2000.

He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Central Washington Family Medicine in 2003 and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been a partner and Associate Physician at Corvallis Family Medicine since 2004.

Dr. Timothy Quiner graduated from Oregon State University in 1987. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1992 from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his residency training in Pensacola, Florida and is board certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Quiner served as a family physician in the US Navy for 25 years. He is a partner and family physician at Corvallis Family Medicine. By using tools of evidence-based medicine and coordinated referrals to specialists, he aims to provide the best experience and quality medical care with an emphasis on prevention for his patients.

Brianne Smith received her medical degree in osteopathic medicine at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, and completed her family medicine residency locally at Good Samaritan, here in Corvallis and Albany, Oregon.

She completed a BS in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at University of California at Davis, and worked on a Masters degree in Toxicology at San Diego State University. Dr. Smith strongly believes in the power of preventative and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Calhoun received her BS in Biology at OSU in 2006. She received her Doctorate of Osteopathic at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona in 2012 and completed her residency at Valley Medical Center In Renton Washington in 2015. Dr. Calhoun worked at The Portland Clinic in Tigard from 2015 to 2017 and the Providence Canby Family Medicine from 2017 until joining CFM in 2024.

In her leisure time, Dr. Calhoun loves to visit local Corvallis shops, events and is a ardent supporter of her alma mater OSU, with her husband and children.

Dr. Knutson received his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University. He graduated from the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima Washington in 2018. He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis in 2021.

Dr. Knutson has been an Internal Medicine physician with Samaritan Health Services in Albany for 3 years. He retired after 23 years for the Oregon National Guard. He is an OSU alumni. He lives with his wife and 3 children in Albany. He enjoys distance running, playing sports, camping, karaoke and going to sporting events.

Dr Martin is a board certified psychiatrist. He was born and raised in Corvallis and received a bachelor’s degree in Physiology & Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University. He received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed his psychiatry residency at Wright State University. He then served as a psychiatrist in the U.S. Air Force in Ohio and Hawaii for four years prior to moving back to Corvallis. Dr Martin utilizes psychotherapy, medication management, and healthy lifestyle interventions to address mental health needs.

Angie Bean received her Physician Associate degree at the University of Washington in 2005. She is board certified through the National Commission for Certified Physician Associates. She worked in Family Practice / Urgent care in Camas, Washington prior to moving to Oregon.

Angie belongs to the Oregon Society of Physician Associates, American Headache Society and Academy for Eating disorders. She is a current board member of the Quality Management Committee through Samaritan Health. In 2011 and 2012 she volunteered at the Kearney Breast Care Center in Vancouver, Washington.

Chelsie White is a registered LPC with the state of Oregon. She received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Stanislaus and received her master's at Western Oregon University. She has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field working in a multitude of different capacities and roles. Chelsie utilizes CBT and ACT. Chelsie is a goal-oriented therapist helping individuals meet their goals and live healthy and productive lifestyles. Chelsie works with a wide age range for individual therapy and also works with families who are experiencing difficulties or complex dynamics.

Chelsie enjoys being with her family, traveling, and attending sporting events in her free time.

Raised in Minnesota, Katharine “Kat” Dunlevy, PA-C, grew up in Idaho. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and French at Boise State University and a Master’s in Physician Associate Studies at Idaho State University. She then completed her residency in Family Medicine in Boise, providing all aspects of family and internal medicine. Kat sees herself not only as a medical consultant but also as a patient advocate. She can provide medical advice and treatment, but she also aims to help patients overcome societal, industrial, and personal barriers to healthcare.

Because “Life is best out West,” she ultimately made her way to Oregon, where she settled with her husband. In Oregon, before joining Corvallis Family Medicine, she served as a physician associate in Boardman and Pendleton. She also ran a small hobby farm with her husband while pursuing their respective careers. When Kat entered academia, she was interested in why humans, as a species, do what we do. This interest led to her studies in anthropology and French. Over time, that interest developed into why people do what they do due to biological, psychological, and societal influences. Along that vein, transitioning from medical anthropology to medical practice felt natural for her. As her education progressed, she found her true passion in primary care. “What I love about primary care is the opportunity it provides to be a part of many different aspects of one’s health and care. I maintain a strong focus on preventative care while also having specific interests in experience in behavioral medicine, substance use disorder, medication-assisted treatment, women’s health, and healthcare equalities.” The core values of Kat's personal life are happiness and health, and she hopes her work will increase those ideals in others. Outside of seeing patients, she finds happiness and health in life with her husband, child and dogs. She enjoys being a mom, rock climbing, painting, gardening, archery, cooking with her husband, and spending time outdoors.

Daryl Handlin, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in mental health and addictions across the lifespan. He earned his MA from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration and has held leadership roles with the National Association of Social Workers. Daryl has trained first responders and law enforcement in crisis intervention and was nationally recognized for innovative practice by the Office of Justice Programs. Guided by his personal mantra, “Many a false step is made by standing still,” Daryl believes meaningful change is possible when people harness their personal strengths, interests, and talents to build momentum for lasting results. He takes an individualized, collaborative approach to helping others achieve the outcomes they seek.

Outside of his professional work, Daryl enjoys creative arts and festivals, outdoor activities, travel, and spending time with his spouse, two adult daughters, extended family, and his two cats.

Bri is an Oregonian. She graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Biology. She went to Texas to complete her Physician Associate training at South University in Austin Texas.

Bri loves her home state of Oregon. She is back with her husband where she plans to remain to be close to family and set down her roots. Before she became a Physician Associate, she worked as an MA at OHSU for over 2 years in Dermatology.

While an undergraduate student at RIT Breanna was a Teaching Assistant for General Biology. She did her Graduate Capstone Project in "Understanding Anorexia Nervosa: Exploring Genetic Influence, Neurobiological Mechanisms, and Treatment Modalities"

Breanna is originally from Utah but loved the state of Oregon so much that she wanted to begin her new life as a Physician Associate here in Corvallis. Breanna is an avid hiker and loves the great outdoors. She also plays the flute and loves animals.
