There are currently no reported cases of the measles in Oregon. If you have concerns regarding your immunity status please contact your health care provider. CFM has the ability to perform a titer for our patients to ascertain your immunity and give a MMR booster or series depending on the results. Children should receive the MMR vaccine as part of the CDC’s vaccine protocol; first dose between 12 and 15 months and a second dose between 4 and 6 years of age.  Patients with certain medical conditions cannot receive the vaccine and additional precautions should be taken. It is important to contact your health care provider to schedule an appointment to discuss your desires and concerns. Please contact your insurance carrier to verify coverage for the titer and vaccine.
