Women's Health

The doctors at CFM and specifically Brianne Smith DO, Melissa Calhoun, DO Angie Bean, PA-C , and Kelly Clayton FNP are available for the multitude of women’s care that may be requested. We perform well women’s exams including pap smears and pelvic exams and breast exams. We are available to discuss contraceptive methods including IUD insertion, Nexplanon insertion as well as oral contraceptive pills. Screening mammograms (women over 40), cervical cancer screening (PAP),  are covered at no cost to the patient on most commercial and government plans.

In menopause, issues may come up such as abnormal bleeding that may require a biopsy of the lining of the uterus (endometrial biopsy). That procedure can be done in our office. We want our female patients to feel comfortable with the individual performing a “Well Woman” exam. Our female providers would be more than happy to see our male physician’s female patients for their physicals if desired.
